PERFORMANCE DATA

IMG_1263.JPG

At St Thomas' we believe that all children can achieve the highest academic standards as well as enjoying a rich, creative and challenging curriculum which focuses on children as individuals, developing their character and helping them develop their skills, talents and interests that pave the way for opportunities in the wider world. Our values are intrinsic and embedded, and the children’s high standards of behaviour are always commented on. Educational excellence is a key priority, but St Thomas' is about so much more, offering a richness of experience that inspires and enthuses children throughout their academic career.

Attainment data and progress from our children’s individual starting points underpin our drive for academic outcomes. Close analysis of success as well as gaps in learning ensure staff can work with children so they can ‘keep up’ rather than having to ‘catch up’. At St Thomas’ this is called Daily Development. We also have a high number of pupils with SEND; some of whom have complex needs. We track and celebrate their progress using the Birmingham SEND Continuums and the Education Autism Trust Progression Framework.

School performance summaries

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, and the unprecedented cancellation of all statutory assessments and tests for Primary School pupils in Summer 2020 and Summer 2021, there will be no statutory performance data available to publish on our School website for the 2019/20, 2020/2021 or 2021/2022 Academic Years.  For the same reason The Government will not be publishing any educational performance data based on tests, or assessments for 2020 or 2021. Please refer to the latest information on our website for 2019 performance, or the DFE website   https://www.compare-school-performance.service.gov.uk for performance tables for Summer 2019.

The government will not publish KS2 school level data for the 2021 to 2022 academic year. The last available public data is from the 2018 to 2019 academic year. It is important to note that the data from that year may no longer reflect current performance.
